Keep your radiator, heater core, and engine clean. Flushing your coolant is essential for the cooling system to prevent rust and to prevent your car from overheating.
Why choose our bolt on services?
If you have chosen one of our brake replacement or brake check options, why not have our expert technician service your car or van at the same time? Our technicians are trained to the highest industry standards using the latest test and diagnostic equipment and we only use manufacturer recommended oils and parts in all our Bolt on options.
What does the Coolant Change include?
A vehicle's coolant should be changed roughly every 24,000 to 36,000 miles. You may want to consider changing it more often if you regularly drive in harsh temperatures or cover many miles. The Antifreeze coolant should generally be used in a 50/50 mixture (varies with manufacturer) and mineral free water. This mixture protects water in the cooling system from freezing, raises the boiling point of the water and aids in preventing rust buildup.
Our checklist includes the following
Drain existing engine coolant
Refill the system with mineral free water and coolant to manufacturers recommendations
Check radiator seals are functioning as required
Run the vehicle and recheck coolant levels. Top up if required
Remove waste coolant
